In order to change your password in Linux you open the menu, navigate to settings, then you click on password. In the window that pop up, enter you current password, hit OK, in the next window enter your new password, hit OK and repeat this process
You can also use the terminal. Open the terminal and type passwd After that give you current password, then enter your new password twice, you should all be set
- userBla> passwd
- Changing password for user userBla.
- Changing password for userBla
- (current) UNIX password:
- Enter new UNIX password:
- Retype new UNIX password:
- passwd: all authentication tokens updated successfully.
