Create MDE Using VBA

From Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

It is possible to create an mde file from VBA. You need a closed mbd file and an Access application. I am not sure why you need the Access application, but I have found that this fails silently if you do not have one.

  1. Set appAccess = New Access.Application
  2. appAccess.SysCmd 603, NameAndPathOfClosedMDB , NameAndPathOfMDEtoBeCreated
